Purim is coming soon!

Many people fondly recall Purim as the last time we (ok not me but the collective we) were together at TI before everything got shut down.
Now, even though we still can't be back in person, we want to connect to have a fabulous holiday celebration.
Many things are planned.
Look for information coming out soon.
But, your input is needed as well.

Item 1

Megillah Readers Unite!!!

We will have our joyful Megillah reading in the
evening of February 25th (about 7:00 pm)
and the morning of February 26th (about 8:00 pm).

Have you read in the past?
Have you always wanted to be a part of the reading?

Either way, if you would you like to read this year, please click here and send me an email as to how much you would like to read, if you have a preference of chapter & verse(s) and whether you will read in the evening and/or in the morning.


Item 2

Shpielers Take the Zoom Stage!!!

The Purim Shpiel at TI is legendary!
(at least I have heard legends about it)
This year will be no different.
It could actuallly be elevated. 
Because we are on zoom, Shpiels can be recorded ahead of time and even edited. Use your imaginations and creativity.

Item 3

While the Megillah reading and Shpiel will happen on Purim evening (February 25 - in case you forgot) for the whole family, we are looking to guage the interest for an adult Purim celebration on Saturday, February 27th.
Additional Shpiels (especially those that may not be for the younger audience) will enhance the evening as well as some games and other revelries.

Yes, of course, I already have Purim evening (Thursday, February 25) on my calendar and as soon as I heard about it I put Saturday, February 27th on my calendar too.   

No, I am going out that evening,
I mean,
I have plans to do a zoom reunion with my (pick one: camp friends, high school pals, family members I hadn’t been in contact with for years until the pandemic),
I mean,
two nights of high intensity frivolity would be too much for my heart.



No matter your selection, Purim will be a blast!
