TI is a participatory, egalitarian, and innovative Conservative synagogue, located in Washington D.C. on upper 16th St. NW near the DC - Maryland line, close to Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Chevy Chase and Bethesda. We offer traditional, Havurah, Family, Tot Shabbat, and Carlebach style services.

We ask you to join us in Jewish learning, tikun olam (repair of the world), and education of our children. Our synagogue community is welcoming, "hamish" and committed - please come and meet us.

See Why you should consider joining our friendly Jewish community. New to the Washington D.C. area - drop in, say hello, break bread with us, and end your search for a Jewish home away from home. If you are looking for a congregation where you will not be a stranger - where the Rabbi teaches you how to bake challah and ruggelach - and where the people support each other in the good times as well as the bad - this is TI.
