Each year, the Social Action Committee selects an organization to support and encourages TI members to "empty their pockets" on their way to Kol Nidre services. This year's recipient is The TraRon Center, a DC non-profit that counsels and provides art therapies for kids traumatized by gun violence. Last year, TI participated in TraRon's annual interfaith "Silence the Violence" concert and  became a concert partner through a generous donation.
