All DayCo-Sponsored with the New Neighbors Interfaith Alliance
Learn about the experiences of Afghan refugees as they escaped and made their way to the US. Hear about the struggles refugees face when they come to the US, learn about support they recieve and how much more is desperately needed. Hear about ways to be an ally for refugees in our area.
The speaker will be an Afghan refugee who is now a legal case worker for the Lutheran Refugee Resettlement Organization. He will speak during morning services and again at 1:15 pm.
Click here to sign up for Afghan cooking lessons. An expert cook will help the group prepare food for Kiddush at Refugee Shabbat.
