The Joint Memorial Day Ceremony has been organized for the past 18 years by Combatants for Peace and The Parents Circle Families Forum in Israel/Palestine. It is the largest Israeli-Palestinian jointly organized peace event in history and provides a unique opportunity for Israelis and Palestinians to grieve together and stand strong in demanding peace. This year, the ceremony will center around the stories of children.

The TI event will include viewing of video clips from the main event in Israel*, a panel of Israeli and Palestinian speakers, music by Aaron Shneyer and friends, and small-group sessions. The event will be in-person only and will not be videotaped.

The event is in memory of Elaine Reuben^z”l, a valued member of the NIF DC community and a longtime supporter of the Joint Memorial Day Event, who passed away this year.
