The Whole Megillah | The Five Megillot | A Series of Classes

This spring we will dive into the Five Megillot – Shir HaShirim (The Song of Songs), Esther, Eichah (Lamentations), Kohelet (Ecclesiastes), and Ruth. We read these books in synagogue at designated times each year, but rarely take the time to examine them in any depth. Join us on Sunday mornings to study these rich and complex classics in the Jewish canon, and enhance your understanding and appreciation of how these texts fit into the holiday cycle. We will begin with Shir HaShirim, read on the Shabbat of Pesach, and end with Ruth, which is read on Shavuot.
