Learn what a rain garden is, why it matters to the environment, what our plans are for TI's rain garden, and how you can build one at home.

Carla received a Master of Landscape Architecture degree at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and graduated cum laude with a BA in Design of the Environment from University of Pennsylvania. Carla is a licensed landscape architect and has been an instructor at George Washington University Center for Continuing Education. Her experience in the field includes the design and construction of new towns, plazas, playgrounds, and numerous private residences in the Washington, DC area. Since 2007, Carla has been in private practice.
