Bar and Bat Mitzvah Program for Teens

 

The religious school seeks to create a sense of community among those studying for Bar and Bat Mitzvah. A weekend retreat and special projects prepare our teenagers for their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and heighten their awareness of the community outside the synagogue. In years past, teens have visited local shelters for the homeless, attended tallit-making workshops, and participated in our neighborhood Havdalah services.
