Calendar Category Feeds
RSS is a format used on the web to distribute and share many types of data, such as news headlines, summaries, articles, and web links to name a few. RSS is XML based.
One can either use a specialized RSS Reader program (also called an aggregator), or the Web Browser itself to access RSS data. One subscribes to and downloads an "RSS feed". The data is then avalable for you to read.
Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs. There are many commercial and free aggregator programs availalble on the web for download. Yahoo! users can add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page. Google users can add RSS feeds to your iGoogle home page, or use Google Reader. Browsers themselves, such as Firefox and Internet Explorer can subscribe to, and display RSS feeds.
