Visiting sites of historical & Jewish interest

The trip itinerary will include a visit to historic Congregation Beth Ahabah (photo at right), home to a museum of Southern Jewish history and the first Jewish cemetery in Virginia, which was established in 1791.  We'll tour its museum of Jewish colonial life.   Join us to explore the Chimborazo Medical Museum to learn about health care during the Civil War, and end the day at the Virginia State Capitol.  And we'll be showing the Civil War documentary film "Jewish Soldiers in Blue and Gray" on the bus.

Sunday May 20  – 9:30 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.
$36 trip fee includes bus transportation, admission fees,
and a dairy boxed lunch.
