Full Moon Hike on Canal

Please join Chaverim for a hike under a full moon and enjoy the crisp, cold air – what could be better! We will go about 3.5 miles roundtrip on the C&O Canal to the Great Falls Overlook. We can shorten the hike for some or all, so people of all abilities are welcome. John List says, “Remember: there is no such thing as bad weather, only improper dressing.” With that in mind, wear or bring comfortable shoes or boots, weather-appropriate clothing (layers, hats, gloves) water, flashlight, and snacks (optional.  John will bring chocolate!

    Meet at 6:30 p.m.
at the parking area across from Old Angler’s Inn,
10801 MacArthur Blvd, Potomac MD
