TI offers many forms of worship. TI offers Carlebach style Kabbalat Services on Friday night; traditional style Shabbat morning services; plus Havurah; and Family style Shabbat morning services. Services are frequently lay led by both adults and post B'nai Mitzvah teens, and we are a singing congregation - we provide a non-cantorial opportunity for those who love to learn new tunes.
TI's Rabbinical leadership.
We offer extensive educational offerings for both Adults and Children. Check out our organized youth programs - it runs the gamut from Bonim to USY.
TI offers Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation for adults with a biannual class as well as preparing teens for their B'nai Mitzvah via our religious school program.
Large print siddurim and Torah portions are available, as well as FM assistive listening devices, and sign interpreted services.
Our building, including the sanctuary and the bima are wheelchair accessible.
Tifereth Israel relies in thousands of ways on the voluntary efforts of our members. No one is asked to take any greater part in the life of the congregation than he or she chooses, but many do a little bit, and a number do a great deal. New members find that TI is very open, and that by participating they make friends and become part of the congregation quickly and easily.
There are many unique ways to volunteer at TI, such as social action projects, designing and installing the children's playground, creating a Biblical garden, cooking meals together, helping the Fine Arts Group create and maintain the artwork in the synagogue, as well as more traditional ways - reading Torah, leading a service, or giving a drash. We all contribute each in our own way to make TI a community we value and one we really enjoy.

The Guide to Giving provides descriptions of the many funds to which you can donate. TI runs on people - the ultimate power of people to change the world, but TI also needs money to operate.
